"Rosie May" Miniature Pixie

I received a beautiful greeting card with a picture of the sweetest little faerie on it, and I had to try to bring her to life in a sculpture! She is a brand new scale ~ different from any of my past dolls, and measures 1 & 3/4 inches in her seated position. I think her pink puffy skirt looks like the petals of a rose, so I've named her Rosie May.

Rosie May is fully sculpted out of polymer clay and wears a pretty pink rose petal dress with tiny pearl roses on the front. Her brown hair is styled up into two tiny side ponytails, and detailed with little pink flower accents. Her opalescent wings shimmer and appear to change colors depending on the background.

She has black glass eyes and rosy cheeks with a smattering of freckles across her cheeks and nose. Rosie May sits perched on the edge of a natural quartz rock.
