As with all FaerieStudio dolls, no molds are ever used ~
each doll is a one-of-a-kind.
Little Jocelyn is busy playing with one of her favorite toys -
her shiny yellow telephone! Who should she call next...mommy!
Jocelyn is fully sculpted out of polymer clay. She has a beautiful light skintone which is the result of highlighting and shading with several light washes of heat-set oils, and her rosy lips and blue glass eyes are also
handpainted with heat-set oils.
Her dark brown hair is fine English viscose. It is parted on the side and styled back on the sides with two little heart-accent barettes. Jocelyn's cute summer dress is lavender with muted pink floral accents, and is made using my own technique to resemble real material.
Jocelyn brings along her Toy Rotary Telephone, which I have also sculpted entirely out of polymer clay (except for the white phone cord). It has a bright red reciver, blue wheels, a white rotary dial, and tiny white handpainted numbers on a multicolored clay background. The phone is signed underneath and has been glossed to look like plastic.
