"Justin and Jacob"
These two precious boys are "Portrait Dolls", sculpted from an actual 11x14" studio photo of my customer's grandsons.
Over 30 hours went into this sulpture, and in the end, we were both thrilled with the result!

The Scupture is made completely from polymer clay, and the clothing was designed using my own technique. I rarely sculpt boys, and I really enjoyed making this sculpture!
In order to get the same background for the dolls as the actual 11x14" photo, I took a picture of the original photo, removed the boys from the background in Photoshop, shrunk it down, printed it out, and created a base with a slot for the background to slide down into.
Both dolls are 1:12 scale, and measure less than 3 inches tall in their seated position!
